 SHOW REELS, CASTING AGENTS AND HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR AUDITION

This masterclass will help you to understand the casting director and the director's needs, to help you prepare and give your best performance in auditions.

 

Our panel will consist of an active producer, director and casting director, who casts for films and commercials. They will discuss showreels, headshots and what to do and not to do. The casting director will look at techniques that can improve your overall performance in the audition.

Actors are asked to bring their showreel which will be screened in our cinema, analysed and a group discussions on the impression it gives. In the session actors will get a better idea of how to put together a showreel and how to create additional material.

​

We will discuss ways to get the right agent and what the actor should expect together with tips on how to help them develop a good working relationship.

​

A photographer will discuss the headshot process and there will be the opportunity for a free headshot.

​
